The University of Cambridge ‘A’ Level qualifications are recognised in more than 150 countries as a gold standard qualification for entry into universities. This is why this globally recognised and accepted qualification will be at the centre of our university preparatory programmes. We will run the Cambridge ‘A’ Level Programme alongside students and familieswith optional pathway to tertiary education.
Traditional ‘A’ Level programme in the College is expected to take two academic years while candidates interested in enrolling for a One Year duration programme are counselled and placed based on their ‘O’ Level entry qualifications, interview scores and performance at Entrance Examinations.
The Cambridge International AS Level qualifications syllabus content is half a Cambridge International ‘A’ Level. Successful completion of Cambridge AS Level examination series leads to the Final Cambridge International ‘A’ Level at a subsequent series. The AS programme is a One Year Programme.

The Ontario Secondary School Diploma is a diploma granted to high school graduates in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is part of the publicly funded province-wide school system. It is awarded to all students who complete the Ontario education curriculum, including students in Special Education, the TOPS program, MaCS program, IB Program, and other focused secondary school programs.
The OSSD is the secondary school graduation diploma required to enter universities in Canada. It is also accepted world wide a university entry requirement.
In order to earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), a student must earn a minimum of 30 credits, including 18 compulsory credits and 12 optional credits. Students must also complete 40 hours of community involvement activities and must pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test, or successfully complete the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OSSLC).
Optional Credits (Total of 12)
In addition to the 18 compulsory credits, students must earn 12 optional credits. Students may earn these credits by successfully completing courses that they have selected from the courses listed by grade in the Academic Program.

IJMB ‘A’ Level programmes are nationally recognised in Nigeria for admissions into second year (200 Level) of university through direct entry UTME.
Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) is a fast track programme compacted into nine months, under the supervision of ABU Zaria i.e. Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria is assessment body for the qualification. Candidates are expected to register three subjects in tandem with their proposed course of study. A point system is utilized in grading such that the total score in each course is converted to a point. The cumulative point total of all courses taken is then the deciding factor in university admission in Nigeria. Each higher institution has their different cut-offs/point tally admissible for various courses of study.
Some of the subjects available for students interested in science and engineering courses in the university are: Agricultural Science, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics and Biology. Management and social science students are able to study Accounting, Business Studies, Economics and Geography while Art and Language students can choose from Literature, Government, History, French/Arabic, Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa, Visual Arts and CRS/IRS. Aduvie College students are counselled to make the right choices regarding subjects, university courses and desired university destinations.

Joint University Preliminary Education Board (JUPEB) is an ‘A’ Level programme which fast tracks prospective students into selected higher institution of his/her choice in Nigeria provided he/she meets previously set up criteria by said institution. Student are expected to sit for and attain at least a ‘credit’ in three subject relating to their proposed course of study and one other general studies course. At the end of the session which comprises of two semesters, the result of all the four individual courses are tallied together to get a cumulative score in each subject. The certificate obtainable is viable in many institutions in Nigeria.

Our students are specifically prepared to achieve high score in SAT which is a standardised college admission test in the US. Students are tested in three main courses; Critical Reading, Mathematics and Writing. Each institution decides on cumulative scores which guarantees admission. It is accepted in almost every major college and institutions in the US. Students enrolled on this programme at Aduvie College are able to benefit from expert advice, tutoring and training that will help secure scholarship opportunities by meeting high SAT scores
This is an examination designed for candidates whose primary language is not English and wish to study in English speaking countries abroad. At Aduvie College, tutors use daily and weekly practice assessment questions to support learners’ preparations for the examination and to monitor progress. It is our policy to ensure learners are well prepared and able to achieve success before we register them for the examinations.
TOEFL can be used to gauge how adept prospective candidates are in the English language (ability to speak and understand). It is accepted in over 9,000 institutions spanning 130 countries worldwide. Candidates are required to attempt 4 sections in this exam; Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing. Individual scores in each test is then tallied up to get the total cumulative score. Maximum score is 120. The result is valid for 2 years after the test.
Like the TOEFL, this is used to assess the English language proficiency level in candidates. It comprises 4 sections; Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. It is run jointly by the British Council, Cambridge English Language Assessment and IDP Education Australia. There are three versions of the test: Academic, General Training and Life Skills.
Academic: For prospective candidate who wish to study an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree or join any Professional bodies in English speaking countries.
General Training: For candidates who wish to migrate to English speaking countries, or attend secondary school in English-speaking countries.
Life Skills: Utilized for candidate looking to gain permanent residence in English-speaking countries.
